You can export snippets and feedback to CSV from a few places in Insights. Each export downloads a CSV file to your browser’s downloads folder.
Need everything in the workspace, not just snippets and feedback? Admins can request a workspace data export: a zip of CSV files covering feedback, snippets, contacts, accounts, labels, roadmap, surveys, interviews, and reports.

Export snippets

  1. Go to the Snippets page.
  2. Apply any filters you want (source, date, category, tags, projects, and so on). The export includes every snippet that matches your current filters, not just the page you’re viewing.
  3. Click the download icon in the footer at the bottom of the snippet list (the tooltip reads Export to CSV).
The file is named reforge-<workspace>-snippets-<DD-MM-YYYY>.csv.
You can’t export from the Feedback tab. To export feedback, use the Snippets export: each row includes the Feedback ID of the feedback the snippet came from.

Export feedback for a theme

  1. Open a themes report from Themes in the sidebar.
  2. On the theme you want, click the ⋯ menu and select Export feedback.
The export includes all feedback linked to that theme, limited to the report’s date range. Each row is one piece of feedback, with these columns: ID, Title, Description, Contact Name, Contact Email/ID, Category, Tags, Date, and Source.
The download icon at the bottom of a themes report exports a summary of the themes (Theme, Count, and Percentage), not the underlying feedback. If you have filters applied, the summary only includes matching data. Only users who can edit reports can use this button.

Export snippets from a custom report

On a snippet list block in a custom report, open the block’s menu and select Export to CSV. Each row is one snippet, with these columns: Feedback ID, Source, Date, Snippet ID, Content, Contact Name, Contact Email/ID, and Category.

Export an Ask Monty dataset

In an Ask Monty conversation, click the ⋯ menu on a dataset card and select Export CSV. You can also click the download icon in the dataset’s snippet drawer. The columns are the same as in the Snippets export. For more on datasets, see Datasets.

Permissions

Anyone who can view feedback in a workspace, including Admins and Members, can export snippets and feedback. See Team roles.
